Our history
A legacy passed from generation to generation
“I'll help you move forward”
With tears of emotion, Armida Peña recalls how, on every trip to the United States, her aunt Rafaelina dreamed of opening a beauty salon. “I'd open a salon with my eyes closed with your talent,” Armida would proudly tell her aunt.
God's timing is perfect
Armida had a great offer in the Bronx. She consulted her mentor and businessman, her father, who advised her never to get into something she didn't yet know. She declined — trusting that God's timing is perfect.
A sign from the Universe
In 2013 Rafaelina passed away, and Armida carried on the dream. In 2018 she organized a makeup course; 40 people came when only 10 were expected — the sign she needed to keep going.
The legacy
Today the legacy lives on. Armida acquired the location: a salon that has stood in the same place for 52 years, with loyal clients, an experienced team, and a story tied to her Dominican roots.
